I remember my old roommate ate two cans of the Hormel chili. Not even 10 minutes later, he was in the bathroom puking his guts out.
You need to be on the Food Channel brother.
I like a bit of grease on the top of my chili. I know it's not healthy but it looks and taste so good.
Brick chili beats all canned chili.
You should have included Kroger brand chili with no beans. My favorite.
Compare brick chili.
I bet your asshole was sore for days.
Chili has no beans. If it has beans, it is a stew.
We tried Wolf brand, we both though it was gross. Hormel without beans is ok for chili dogs. Homemade is best, and easy, come on man.
Stagg Chili is where it's at. That one is hearty and delicious.
I enjoyed Hormel no bean beef chili better than the Wolf Brand. A bit of hot sauce and some extra white onion and I thought it was very good tasting. Not healthy at all, but who cares? Not me. I just wanted a really good tasting bowl of chili.
No cheese ? Lol
I like beans I my chili lok
Mixing them was a great idea and gave me some ideas too, with other food products. I already mix soups when I'm stuck with Progresso, which is only okay, not great. This video gave me ideas for expanding
Not a very big fan of the "homestyle" Wolf Brand. The original is the best.
Denison's hot chili is the best
Every time i hear him talk I think of my local radio station's car comemrcial guy, and I expect to hear "DO YOU HAVE MOXXIE?"
Wolf brand w/o beans is my favorite
Campbals chilli
they should make canned chili broth. Just brown off your meat and whatever you want to add (ie, onions, beans, etc) and dump the can of broth and simmer.
Best store bought brand is Campbell's Chunky w/beans, hands down. Hormel isn't fit for human consumption.
Nalley's is best store bought choices. Now my grandkids too.
Take the Hormel Chili and melt in some Cheddar Cheese, put some Frito Corn Chips in a burrito wrap, pour chili over Fritos wrap up.
Wolf is the best of the chili's you got there, but you ain't lived until you've had Cincinnati Skyline chili
I prefer the Wolf
None of these brands are available in Australia.
We have Stagg chili and Heinz chili.
Both more expensive than US chili.
I tried the wolf brand and got pretty sick because of the green peppers(I'm allergic to them ). So I stay with hormel (hot) .
The word Chili should not be on any of these cans. What people have done to chili is just plain ridiculous. If there was no canned isle at the store then all that would be left is real chili from Hispanic countries. The ingredients that people use now to make "chili" is crazy, I have seen videos that have paprika, cayenne pepper, canned beans, canned corn, canned tomatoes, canned peas, canned green beans, canned cans, Mustard, oats, Capn Crunch cereal, Coconut oil, artichokes, bananas, CBD oil, oysters, insects, beer, tequila, milk, raisins, black pepper, lemon pepper, cumin, thyme, nutmeg, butter, mayo, relish, shrimp and anything else they can afford in the store. Why do you try to fix something that is not broken? Go back to the beginning to find out how real chili is made.
Wolfs or Hormel + tortillia chips = yum
Hmmm… by my best calculation you ingested over 10 cans of chili, in some form or another, over 24 hours and divided by 3 people… HOOOOOOEY! The Wolfe communal bathroom is gonna be OFF limits to outsiders. ; )
All these chilies suck. Lol they have more freaking beans than meat and even then the one with no beans doesn't taste right. Best chili is home-made chili.
I think the Nalley Original Vegetarian Chili is interesting. The textured soy makes for a fairly convincing ground beef to me.
I have had Hormel chili and in my opinion it is total crap. I had two cans of the stuff and after eating the first one , I took back the second to the store where I had bought it. I am somewhat spoiled in that years ago somebody posted the recipe for Wendy's chili and I have been making that stuff several times a year. No more Hormel chili…ever !!!
I like how your #1 chili was the one with your name! I use to enjoy the Wolf chili, but had to stop eating it because there was too much pepper/spice. I now either make slow cooker chili or the Hormel brand. I find Southgate to be a bit greasy for my taste! Thanks for comparing those 5 brands! Mixing the chilis was a good idea and something I likely would have done!
we couldve still eaten that southgate chili now lol
“The tunes”…”music”. Hilarious.
Canned Chili with beans means – 98% beans and Just enough meat that we can claim it on the label.
If you can find it try Dennisons' [no beans] chili.
The only time one should ever eat anything by southgate or armour is when there is nothing else within 100 miles to be found.
Armour Chilli with beans is my go to especially with Saltines
Chili Man is the best
Canned chili throwndown is better than canned chili throw up
I love a good homemade chilli with beans, as a personal favorite I always chop up some big pickled cucumbers into it, sounds weird but just maybe try it
Dennison's Chunky chili… My god that stuff is so good with some steamed white rice, sliced fresh onions, a dollop of sour cream on the side, and a couple slices of American cheese on top. YUM!
