This looks soo good I'm hungry now thank you lol
Where can I buy this rub at?? I need this asap
You would get more bark if you were to slice it into strips before smoking. This will allow more smoke penetration and a quicker cook.
Hi Larry! It has been a long while since I've been on YouTube but I am back now and making new videos. I really enjoyed this video of yours as I am about to make my first attempt at burnt ends. Thank you for some ideas! I look forward to giving it a try.
Us folk Kansas city would kill somebody using chuck for burnt ends, but it actually is a great idea cooking for cheap
Re-loading worked.
For some reason Cabin People's audio is running over this video. I will try re-loading.
Question: why cover it? I'm thinking it would do better uncovered, but I have no real reason for thinking that lol. I'd like to pop a chunk of wood in at that stage maybe. I'm going to try this with a Chuck within the next day. Is there brown sugar in that rub?
First day over 50 degrees here in Michigan so I busted out the smoker and tried this and wow! I'll be making this again. Thanks
Jack Stack BBQ in KC !!
Great Burnt Ends
Why no smoke ring?
A chuck roast, that's a great idea!!
I'm sure those are delicious but no, not burnt ends.
Awsome video I will have to fire up my grill on labor day for this one .
I've never had Burnt Ends and no more access to a pit so am thinking about trying to do it in a VERY slow oven. It will not be the same, but better than I have right now.
Thank you so much
Looks really yummy. Any type of bbq sauce in particular?
Bought a chuck roast today. Going to try this tomorrow. I can`t afford a brisket these days. I remember in the early 90`s they used to go on sale for 99 cents per pound.
Cruel and unusual punishment :'(
Those burnt ends were tender as my heart Larry!!! Time to dig in!!
OMG that is so awesome!!! I could snack on those all day long !!!

You bend over while I run and get my torch, and I'll show you a burnt end.
Vinegar and the Texas toast were nice touches, Larry. Another fantastic video, Sir! Two thumbs up.
Oh Larry, this sounds like a WINNER! We were talking about this tonight and we definitely are going to try this. 🙂 (by the way, we smoked ribs this weekend and your rub was a HIT!)
