I can sit here for days and just watch this BBQ master Cook! Outstanding!
SUGGESTION: try honey instead after wrapping in aluminum foil. You will be amazed at the result!!
How did he get from burning at the bottom? When I placed mine on the grill the bottom burned. Is it because the grill is to hot? Also what is the waterpan for
I don't know. Maybe it's me but I would prefer to use a lint free towel. But everything else looked great and he is terrifically informative.
Beautiful!!!! A simple recipe!Nothing fancy! Nice video!
Subscribed..8/9/19.
What wood did you "smoke" with, apple? Hickory? Thanks
Where I can buy the oven u have? Am not in US
If you are talking it's not barking
As simple as it may look, these ribs look a milliom times better than most ribs on yt. The bark is just awesome unlike some black ones, its firm yet juicy and doesnt disintegrate when you cut it. No 3 2 1 method used either, just 2 2 and its perfect. A meat is done when its done. I personally use a 2 – 1.5 method, give or take and it always comes out perfect.
Austin is the only thing good left in Texas
20 – 30 min rest? I've never heard of such a thing before. Even a roast beef which is thicker is usually 10 – 20 minutes. I am confused.
Nicely done!
I used to kind of cook ribs like this before I knew what I was doing. Nobody, NOBODY, N-O-B-O-D-Y beats my ribs.
Aaron changes pants in the video too….supposed to be one cook. Interesting.
Interesting edit here. @ 2:12 you can see Aaron sauce the ribs and the ribs are exposed. @ 2:15 you can see no ribs exposed……different rack or bad edit to hide a mistake?
Aaron has a Masterclass on BBQ. People are paying to learn what he knows, therefore your negative comments are worthless.
Great video Franklin
Hey Aaron if you come over and cook I will buy the beer.
Aaron you sprites, sauce, and set right before you rap! Wow, you build more flavors on the ribs before you sounds amazing! Aaron thank you for sharing!
Thanks Aaron
This man is an AMAZING pit master! almost 8000 likes and 250 dislikes. I bet the 250 are from either New York City or California. ???
I burned the towel.. great video but using a towel at this level of heat isn’t the smartest thing to do… mostly beginners will watch this.. it’s bad advice in my opinion, everything else is super and ribs tasted great!
Aaron is definitely an expert. His way is a way. There is not a the way. I live in Memphis and every year the best cookers in the world come here to compete. I have learned from other pitmasters and cook great BBQ. It is a matter of preference and taste. Great video easy simple recipe and I am sure they were delicious.
People should not criticize unless you have been there and then you didn't like it. I have been there and can say it is for me the best I've ever had bar none. Tried about everything and I normally will not wait in line for food but it was worth every minute. The line is fun chatting with people and we were seated and eating in 1 1/2 hours, not too bad a wait.
Yum!
Franky boy, read your book in one sitting and shared with friends.
Where are all these experts? ?
This is where its at… Franklin BBQ techniques. Thanx Dude. ??
Aaron i love what you do, the videos you make, but what i love the most is THE WAY you do the things! Rookies like i am, often overlook after the process and the steps we do in the barbecue preparations. You are Easy&Lazy…before Low&Slow! Way to go!
I hate myself for loving you
not really , I love myself too much
Aaron should do a video on wrapping , what a present that would be
The great thing about BBQ or cooking anything for that matter is to make it your way.
Thank you, Aaron, for all your videos and for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. I just cooked a brisket all night using the Aaron method and am fixing to cook a rack of pork spare-ribs!
This looks amazing jesus Christ!
Why the water bowl in the smoker ?
Moisture control ?
I can see why he's considered the best BBQ cook in the world. His attention to detail is crazy
Thanks for the great advice and educational bbq tips Franklin. Your bbq looks great.
I followed his technique yesterday, and the ribs came out too tender. The bones were breaking in half they were so soft. Any idea why this would be? I kept the heat at 275 for the whole process.
Made with post irony and new sincerity. It's not that the bbq is bad or any of that. It's just that he has to stamp bbq with hipsterism.
Every comment is calling out critics when I can't find a single person actually criticizing this man.
how long were the ribs left in after he wrapped it?
I smoke ribs. Bit different from Aron. But, this is excellent advice. He’s very thoughtful. Tells you why he’s doing stuff.
I use a thermometer. They don’t cost anything & you don’t need to be opening the smoker. I don’t smoke everyday either.
Love that, you can tell there done by how they feel in your hands!
He’s an awesome bbq guru with personality. No criticism!
That’s a damn good lookin rack of ribs!
What was in the bowl to the right of the ribs?
people who wrap BBQ anything just do it to get it done faster and most of the morons eating it don't know the difference – they just know they ate at "insert name" so and so's place….yawn
What cooker is that?
