If you cut your cabbage longways through the stem end, the cabbage will hold together. Going to try this tomorrow, boil as you did, cook on a plank and then wrap with Guinness :>) Gonna be gooood.

I made this three days ago, for family relatives after a christening.
My neighbors thought we were mad getting my smoker out in March (as its really cold here in the UK at this time,) but hell they then joined us !!
We did not have an animal skin to keep the meat warm, so used a sleeping bag.
BBQ Pit Boys, I won't lie to you here, this went down so well that people staying overnight asked for it for breakfast, "I kid you not"
Folks out there that have thumbs downed this clip "DON'T" unless you have tried it !!!
It is yet another BBQ Pit Boys master piece.

Love you and your recipes BBQ Pit Boys,
    Chris in UK

remember there is a difference between corn fed beef and corned beef
corned beef was preserved in corn
and fat on a grass diet
corn fed beef has been fed corn

I make this brisket on St. Patrick's day. I tell the kids it's corned beef and not even one of them would taste it. I bet I made 8 lbs.of it. I go out fishing Sunday morning and I'm thinking the whole time I'm fishing when I get home ,I'm gonna chow down on some more corned beef, right? I get home and there was one slice left………… Momma got the kids to try it and they ate all of it!!!
