Out of all the brisket recipes I've found you'd is the best of them all! Simple, plain and to the point. I like how you cut the brisket and the juices just flow out. Great video. I'm stealing your technique. Thanks for the video.

This Texan is smoking one right now. lol That's a fine looking brisket. It had my mouth watering. We use the same methods except I wrap mine in foil and I keep it in a ice chest. No ice of course. lol

Brisket rules in Texas. Be careful when you try it elsewhere…
Like anywhere pulled pork rules. <smile>
We drove from Texas to Tennessee last summer on a BBQ sampling tour.
Mostly we learned, brisket is not their thing…

Can you use the same technique for a Brisket Flat? I've been trying to master the brisket cooking, but all I keep getting is Tender and DRY briskets. Three failed attempts. Three brisket flats and one packer. Cooking at temps 220F. My wife is becoming more and more pissed because briskets out here are not cheap and she wants some bbq brisket lol. I have a 40inch Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. Any advice for a brisket like this one would be so appreciated. Thank You and one awesome video.
