OHHH GUUDDDDD
Hey Pit Boys! When i tried this recipe with my dad (maybe 1 year ago), the chicken was fully coocked but tasted like yeast/ leaven (we left it on the grill long enough, got the same weber grill as in the video but without the table-thing. Also used enough charcoal). Maybe we used the wrong beer :(. Can i also try it with water and herbs and spices in it even if i know that this might be not the manliest way to do it. BTW: should i use oil to rub the chicken with it and the spices….what do you think, BBQ experts 😉
gave this a shot… fuck yes guys.
—E this looks like a fun recipe to try!~ I wonder if flavored beer like apple or lemon would work?
I did this recipe in the oven. You don't get the bbq smoke flavor but it still came out moist and tasty.
Do yall seriously eat like this every day? It's so unfair. Lol
DONT COVER UP THE STEALIE!! SHOWIN THE GD LOVE!! (~);} you guys are awesome
I need help on this one …I grew up with charcoal and NOTHING can touch it but for convenience ..is gas better ??
love bbq'ing and you guys are hero's for this !!
I read that scientific testing shows that the beer doesn't get warm enough to boil. And that the mass of the "warm" beer keeps the inside of the chicken from cooking.
This is so beautiful!
How can I get a BBQ pit boys mug an t shirt???
isnt it about opening the beer can inside the chicken so that the beer flavours the chicken?
What temp was your grill at? Or does the ring of fire kinda defeat a certain temp?. I wanna do my first beer can chicken like this but I have a offset barrel smoker.. should still work fine I reckon. (Gonna use a lime a Rita) I've never seen anyone do one with lime a Rita! LIGHTBULB LOL. y'all are awesome . Big fan since day one!
Hi, Love your recipes. On this one I see you place the chicken inside the grill on top of it seems to me to be a round smoking box, where can I buy one of those?
thanks
Mo
I have the rotisserie attachment for my Weber, it came with a ring that makes the cooking chamber taller. So I can fit the beer can chicken on the grill grate. I alternate between spinning the bird on the rod and beer can style, both ways come out nice and juicy.
Man that looks great, gotta try this one again !
My other hobby (big smile)
WOW, this is new to me… I've never seen anyone doing a chicken like that here in brazil, gotta try this…
Did you add more coals half way?
LOL! 5:19 nuttin worse than dropping your pecker in the snow!
@BarbecueWeb, this may sound like a stupid question, but do you guys eat barbecues everyday? I could live on that diet man.. you guys eat like kings!
