100% Drooling. Great job, Chef!
Dont eat pork
That was a good pair of videos, looks great!
Hell yes! I have a freezer full of these cause I didn't know what to do with em, but knew they were too good to throw out. Been waiting for this video – thanks Chef Tom!
Great video for tips!
I've got 4 packages of tips in the freezer waiting for a good video on tips.
Thank you sure.
If i cooked them whole, would i digress from the instructions?
Superb recipe! Can I make a suggestion? I’d greatly appreciate it if you could do a veal recipe. Maybe veal chops or even veal cutlets.
Tip for UK pitmasters: go to the butcher counter in Tesco and ask for a full rack of belly ribs, they will fetch it from the back. You get exactly what Tom is cooking here
Guys you scared the hell out me. The trimming part was too familiar. I had to look my youtube history to understand why I knew…. why I already saw the cleaning of the ribs part. I thought the matrix was real for 0.1 seconds.
Yes!! Use all the scraps!!
I usually cut down along the cartilage to remove them and open that rib tip area to where it’s almost like a pork “skirt steak”
Loff it!!🤘🔥
In Chicago, we cook the tips whole and chop them after hours of smoking. Never saw them prepared in reverse. 🤷♂️
I sure needed that video in Smokin like 15 slab’s on the Fourth of July weekend and I can save the rib tips for something else, any tips lol on storing them for a month or two should I pre season them what you think Chef Tom ??
Thank You for your classes👊🏾👍🏾🙏🏾
I do this alot but 1st time seen on video great job looks delicious
I used to live in North Carolina & Texas and you just cannot find any BBQ place that sells tips. I also live in the DC area now and some people don't even know what tips are and you just cannot find them here and I just don't know why it's so hard to find outside certain areas because to me I think tips are the best part of ribs and is one of the things I mess most about not living in Chicago anymore. I'm going to have to see about making some next weekend.
Where can I purchase those prep tubs that pop up or down??
You can use rib tips for Compton cut spare ribs. Usually I cut about 1 inch section. Cutting past the cartilage is St. Louis. Compton takes half inch to 1 inch of rib tips and smoke them over almond 2 hours 10 minutes even.
I’ll take a pound! Yum! 🔥🔥🔥
Really tasty looking rib tips. Cheers! 👍👍✌️
Do you have a preferred rubber glove for when youre trimming and prepping?
These look so good, especially with that Fire Bug sauce!
