    i've found that the best way to use this sauce is by cooking the meat and then at the end dipping it and putting it back on the grill/smoker for about 5 mins. this is also a fantastic marinade for pork chops.

    ShoutOut from North Alabama if your ever in madison county go down to Decatur and visit Big Bob Gibson's BBQ if you like this no better in north alabama and big bob is the guy who originally created white sauce in the early 20's-30's

    I dunno, maybe it's like the first time I had guacamole. I had to close my eyes because it looked like my daughters diaper. That sauce just looks like somebody spooged all over the chicken. If you say it's good I guess I'll have to try it.

    Awesome cook Mr.Larry !! I bought some Big Bob Gisons  sauce on line when I got ready to use it The seal was broken so I threw it out.. I still want to try it, now Ill  make it using your recipe.thanks Brother Larry

    I want to try this. I believe it's a local sauce. I live in east central bama near Georgia and we don't have the white sauce here. I've never even seen it offered on a menu. Around here people use a sauce a lot like the Cornell BBQ sauce developed by a guy at Cornell University.
