    Here's a good one for for you guys take large onions slice 1/2 to 1 in thick leave whole get self rising flour add some seasonings and Parmesan cheese 2 eggs some milk make your batter as thick as you like dunk the whole slice of onion fry in bacon grease cook till well browned use as topping for burgers or just a slice on the side to eat beats onion rings any day

    Just a tip from the Netherlands: Always make your patties 1 inch bigger than your buns and push in the middle a bit, to prevent it from bending. When the patties are ready and you build your burger, the patties will fit the buns perfectly 🙂 Easier to put some other toppings on the bigger patties too 🙂

    The only difference would be I could never part with that bacon fatty goodness. I'd be saving it in my bacon fat tin, instead of mopping it up with a paper towel, lol.
