Bacon Black & Blue Burger Recipe




Chef Tom cooks up our take on the Black and Blue Burger. A 1/3 pound beef pattie with blue cheese mixed directly in, topped with Fanestil bacon and a delicious blue cheese dressing.

    First, let me say I love all of your stuff! However, the shape/shrinkage of your burgers bothered me. Take a tip from Bobby Flay, and make the center indention with your thumb. He calls it "faking out the burger" and it's worked very well for me in keeping the shape flat, and preventing the burger from shrinking up so much, which makes for a nicer burger. Hope the constructive criticism didn't come off wrong. Cook on!

    Id love to see your twist on mozzarella sticks.. The type of breading and maybe do something with the mozzarella or maybe even a different cheese.. Im sure youd make a banging marinara sauce too. Much love brother!

    Great recipe again! I have my 40th birthday on the 25 of August. I would like cook again in the pit for my friends and some veggie for my vegetarians. But after a couple of party I'm out of the recipes. Would do next time a good vegeterian dish on the bqq please?

    Looks awesome. I actually thought this was gonna be a burger cooked like a black and blue steak: Extremely charred exterior with the interior still raw, like a steak tartare. Would be interesting to see if that would work.
