I feel bad for Chef’s requested. If you go on google street view, you’ll see their parking lot was full of cars. It is certainly on them for their choice to use poor quality meats, but it is sad to see a small business go.
I don't know that it's fair to say one video ruined a company; imagine the forecast was on the horizon when the dollar route was taken. Take heed, and responsibility, for product quality. Did fifteen restaurants make the same decision after all stumbling upon an opinion based on a bargain beef? ?
I always feel like I'm getting snapped at jaja I kno the feeling!
Fuck them. I don't feel any sympathy at all. How does that guy sleep at night knowing he's partially responsible for selling shit/poison food. How do work for a company that knowingly sells this "food" to dollar stores that prey on the poor and uninformed? If he would have done HIS due diligence he would've known dollar stores are terrible and somewhat racist establishments. I can't believe the nerve if him getting mad and indignant. The gall of some people. Wow.
NEVER BUY CASE READY MEAT. It either has a salty or citrus solutions. Or enough Nitrogen to keep case ready for weeks.
I work in one of Montreal's best steakhouse and these things are an insult to good meat.
I work as a butcher and meat cutter for a grocery store. These are Utility grade ribeyes which are the cuts that are basically the best of the very worst. Basically they are from Small, malnourished, old and sick cattle. I've had to cut the utility ribeyes before from the entire "ribeye" which I wouldn't even call it a ribeye. it has the worst taste, Smell and texture of any meats. Ive seen gooey yellow slime and orange colored fat on them, the smell is almost like really bad breath lol none of these cheap steaks are worth it and is basically all the greedy pricks wanting more money at the cost of the people eating garbage.
It's amazing when reality hits how hard the folks that aim to pass off carp as crab fall. Thanks for being real!!!
That isn't the meat sizzling, that's the barbecue hissing at you for putting these sorry excuses of meat cuts on it's grills..
The only think more sorry looking is that cost to order them directly.
I'd rather get a prime NY Strip for the same price
damn they look pathetic 53$?that's a rip of you can get for that price prime NY strips 3 of them from Costco
Brave man
You fell like a glutton cus ya are my guy

Meat is meat,, just be thank-full A cow gave up its life for you , that you can eat meat his flish of life.
4oz for 4 kids, under 13.
We (the people) appreciate your sacrifices for our culinary safety.
Meat glued
Larry: Don't know if you oiled your grates first, but if not, that alone is very telling. That I can just see a Mechanic, beating the heck out of those steaks with a wrench, to tenderize them.
Thanks, I appreciate my NZ local grass fed Angus beef even more now.
Both packages contain soy, could they be tofu steaks. Some one cooked me a tofu burger, and it tasted rancid to me.
A supermarket ribeye would never need to be "tenderized" The supermarkets have tenderizing machines that they run tough cuts like topside through so they can be tender if cooked on the grill as they are a stewing meat….
In the body, crystalline silica particles do not dissolve over clinically relevant periods. Silica crystals inside the lungs can activate the NLRP3 inflammasome inside macrophages and dendritic cells and thereby result in production of interleukin, a highly pro-inflammatory cytokine in the immune system
Wow you guys ran a company out of buisness…? Nice
It’s obviously soft because of the tenderizer. Right?
I hate steak bc even though I’m 18 I eat like a 4 year old child, this makes me view it as a blessing and not a curse
…and wow, those look nasty. Something off in that texture!
I'd guess that "flavor" these days refers to GRAS substances – generally regarded as safe – meaning seasonings. Stuff like that, they don't have to legally list, and can thus protect recipes. And, yes, that can include the meat glues, so your idea on that could be very accurate. According to this article, they have to say on the label, in some form or another, though:
"The USDA requires meat, egg, and poultry producers to list transglutaminase on ingredient labels, but they don’t always have to write the word out in such clear terms. You may see “TG enzyme,” “enzyme” or “TGP enzyme” used. If the food you’re holding has used the enzyme at any point in the manufacturing process, the food should also be labeled as “formed” or “reformed” meat."

So, if they don't say, maybe it isn't there? Still no bargain, with way less eat that people think they are buying. Better to flavor your own steak!
Ewwww…you can legit see the slime on them!
You also don't know how much of the protein in this is from soy.
I live in the US for a while, we obviously have processed foods and such in Canada too, but it's nothing like the products sold in the US. Can't believe they're allowed to sell half that crap lol.
The joys of paying for the name….
And yes I won't be buying them
