the Andrew Zimmern meatball/loaf bowl is like Duncan Hines brownies – Duncan was a restaurant critic who sole the use of his name, much as these last few "meals" have been. thanks for the review though, good to know what to avoid!

Basically Everything you say in this review is Right On the mark! As to why not show the finished dinner photo on the cover… Obviously NOONE WOULD BUY IT! "We-The-People" greatly appreciate your video food reviews so we can (or should not) avoid buying them

Andrew's a bit of a peculiar guy for sure, but I never felt he was pompous in his TV appearances. Eccentric for sure, but not pompous. I don't follow him on social media, so maybe it comes out there more?

I kinda think TVP isn't an issue with meatloaf and balls if used in a reasonable amount. They're not trying to pretend they're a single piece of meat. They're a homogenous mixture of protein with speckled vegetation bound together by bread crumbs and egg, where the TVP acts like a combination of protein and bread crumbs. I'm nowhere near as sensitive to protein texture as you are though.

I DO think that if someone IS overly sensitive to protein textures, they should swallow a bit of their pride and learn some basic cooking skills over time so they won't have to worry about that. Just like dropping bad habits (smoking or drinking for instance) you'll save money (or obtain higher quality ingredients), it's nowhere near the crazy time commitment that a lot of folks assume, and you'll be getting better nutrition to boot.

Frozen foods are convenient, I got some in my freezer just as much as the next person, but they should be a convenience or supplement to your food source, not replace it like so many folks are doing these days.

Sometimes even separators don't work. Remember, these items are stocked from machine to truck to store shelves. I'm sure the stockers don't literally throw them in the freezer violently however I'm sure the stocker doesn't treat frozen foods like fragile glass either. Then they are bagged in grocery bags and again they are not treated like fragile.

Saying We the people make us like family and that's a good thing. I could never eat anything with andrews name on it knowing the gross stuff he has eaten I am scared of what mite be in it. That goes for gordo too, but just because the man treats people like his food, crap. Celebrity endorsed anything and I'm out. Keep em coming sir no matter what the non people think.

I went to Zimmern's Twitter, I mean X, and passed alsong the honest review challenge. I suggest many others do the same so he notices us. But he was also hawking one of his other frozen meals, so I'm guessing we can't get an honest review.

This is turning out to be a great series! I hope the celebrity chefs watch this. They should be ashamed. Gordon Ramsey, you are a donkey for doing this.
